March Brings Luck In Lethbridge - Blog

Your camper is sitting in the driveway and you're wondering about upgrading your rig before that spring vacation. While driving to your Lethbridge RV Dealer you start thinking about all the fun things to do in town while waiting for winter to wind down. March brings celebrations for St. Patrick’s Day and events highlighting the Easter season.

Celebrate St. Patrick’s Day in Lethbridge

Why go to one St. Patrick’s Day party when you can just as easily visit four? The St. Patrick’s Day Club Crawl begins at Essie’s Nightclub at 320 Scenic Drive in Lethbridge. One of several similar parties hosted across Canada, this pub crawl includes visits to four downtown nightclubs via private party bus, no waiting in line or cover charges, contests with prizes and an abundance of Mardi Gras-style beads to wear as you choose. The Club Crawl Pass does not include the drinks, but then again, you don’t have to worry about driving from club to club. This event sells out quickly so buy your tickets online and pick them up at Essie’s at 7:00 p.m. Buses leave by 8:00 p.m.

If you’d like to do your partying all in one spot and have a penchant for green beer, celebrate St Patrick’s Day at Average Joe’s Sports Bar, 420 6th Street South. Doors open at noon, just in time for the first pint of green beer to be poured. Dress in costume and you might win the $100 gift certificate redeemable at the pub. Door prizes include hats, T-Shirts and a 32” HDTV. Draws for the gift certificate and the HDTV will be at 10:30 p.m. The Lethbridge Firefighters Pipes and Drums band will perform at 3:00 p.m. and 9:00 p.m. Pints and wings will both be on sale until closing. Come party the night away and indulge in a bit o’ Irish laughter, even if you’re not.
